The Connecticut State Museum of Natural History, part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at UConn, hosts a UConn Bug Week lecture by Joan Allen and Pamm Cooper from the Plant Science and Landscape Architecture Department at UConn. The lecture will be held at the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History on the UConn Storrs Campus, Saturday, July 25 at 1 pm.

Find out all about insects and where to look for them in this UConn Bug Week event. We’ll focus on Lepidopterans, the order of insects that includes butterflies and moths, but will see what other types of insects we can find too! This event will include a short indoor presentation with live specimens and an outdoor exploratory walk with tips on where to find a variety of insects in their natural habitats.

This program is free and advanced registration is not required. To contact the Museum visit http://www.cac.uconn.edu/mnhcurrentcalendar.html or call 860-486-4460. To find out more about UConn Bug Week activities visit http://bugs.uconn.edu.
