Martha Collins: Poetry Reading

Martha Collins is the author of six books of poetry, including Day Unto Day (2014), Blue Front (2006), and The Catastrophe of Rainbows (1985), two chapbooks, and three books of co-translations from the Vietnamese, and is the editor of numerous anthologies. Her awards and fellowships include two Ohioana Awards, the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, a National Endowment for the Arts, fellowships from the Bunting Institute, the Ingram Merrill Foundation, and the Witter Bynner Foundation, three Pushcart Prizes, the Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award, a Lannan residency grant, and the Laurence Goldstein Poetry Prize. Collins founded the Creative Writing Program at UMass-Boston, and for ten years was Pauline Delaney Professor of Creative Writing at Oberlin College. She is currently editor-at-large for FIELD magazine and one of the editors for the Oberlin College Press. Co-sponsored with the UConn Co-op.
