“Linearly Resummed Hydrodynamics from Gravity”

Using fluid/gravity correspondence, we construct all-order resummed relativistic hydrodynamics by solving Einstein equation in the asymptotically AdS spacetime. The underlying microscopic theory is the N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory. To linear order in the amplitude of hydrodynamic variables and boundary metric tensor, all order derivative terms are compactly absorbed into two viscosities (in front of derivatives of fluid velocity) and four GSF terms (associated with boundary curvature tensors). We compute these transport coefficients first in the hydrodynamic limit, and then numerically up to large values of momenta. To clarify what we mean by all-order resummed hydrodynamics, we turn to memory function-based formalism, which is also suitable for practical simulations.
