Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will (be able to): 1. Discuss the basic science behind C. difficile infection 2. Recognize which patients are at risk for C. difficile associated diarrhea 3. Describe the diagnosis of C. difficile infection and triage disease severity 4. Identify various treatments of C. difficile infection with a focus on newer therapies that are in the process of FDA review
