Panelists: Katana Greene (Class of 2010): Former WNBA player and WNBA Champion, and two-time national champion at UConn, Ms. Green started KLG Industries in the telecommunications and renewable energy sector providing premier project management, consulting, and telecommunications services. Mario Leite (Class of 1998): Mario Leite is the President and Founder of Tea-rrific! Ice Cream, an artisanal ice cream company based in Bridgeport, CT crafting super-premium tea-infused ice cream from simple ingredients and fresh-brewed loose leaf and herbal teas. Mr. Leite has a B.S. in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Barry Schwimmer: Barry Schwimmer is Founder and Managing Partner of the Stamford Innovation Center. The iCenter is a small business incubator whose mission is to create jobs and provide training while developing the entrepreneurial community throughout the State of CT. Moderator: David Noble (Assistant Professor in-Residence, Co-Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Consortium, UConn School of Business) researches and teaches entrepreneurship and strategy. David serves as the director of the Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Forum for the School of Business, as well as participating as a judge and mentor in the UCONN InnovationQuest program.
