TITLE: "Modifiable Risk Factors for AD: Gaps and Opportunities"

Speaker: Kathleen Hayden, Ph.D., Wake Forest School of Medicine

Target Audience: UConn Health faculty, residents, medical students, and other mental health professionals.

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Summarize the current understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease. 2. Identify gaps in the literature with respect to modifiable risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease. 3. Analyze new approaches to Alzheimer’s disease prevention.

Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
