UConn Mediterranean Diet and Tuscan Cuisine in Florence (Summer)

The foods produced and consumed in the Mediterranean Countries form quite possibly the healthiest diet in the world.  The University of Connecticut at the Institute at Palazzo Rucellai invites you to spend 6 weeks totally immersed in the food and nutrition environment of Florence Italy while studying the effect of the Mediterranean diet on our health and the history of the Italian food culture.   We designed this program for students of nutrition, dietetics, food and health to explore the delicious foods and cuisine of Italy and the Tuscan region.

UConn Sustainable Food and Environmental Systems, Florence (Fall)

The Sustainable Food and Environmental Systems Program at the International Studies Institute at Palazzo Rucellai in Florence invites students to spend the fall semester studying sustainable food and environmental systems in Italy in its three key dimensions: the environment, economy and society.

This program is designed for undergraduate students of agricultural sciences, environmental studies, economics and business administration, nutrition science, and students generally interested in food and sustainability studies.
