Workshop: Use PIVOT to Locate Grant Funding

Pivot (http://pivot.uconn.edu) is the most comprehensive search engine for grants in all disciplines - with 26,000 funding opportunities worth an estimated $33 billion. Pivot makes it easy to search for grants in your research area, and to establish funding alerts which automatically let you know when new opportunities become available in your field. Pivot: - includes research, travel, and postdoctoral funding opportunities, available through thousands of federal, state, corporate, non-profit, and foundation sponsors - has funding opportunities for faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars - contains Scholar Profiles for every UConn faculty member - to match researchers with appropriate grants, and to help identify potential research collaborators across schools and campuses
