No Dilemma for Vegans: A Response to Pollan

This is a free event. No tickets are required. Peter Singer is the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics, University Center for Human Values, Princeton University, and author of many classic texts in bioethics, including Practical Ethics, Animal Liberation: A New Ethics for our Treatment of Animals, Animal Liberation, and Writings on an Ethical Life. This event inaugurates UConn Reads 2014-15, which focuses on Michael Pollan's The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, which addresses the social, environmental, and cultural impact of the American ways of eating.

Attending this event counts towards Sophomore Honors.
