7:00pm – 8:00pm

Storrs Campus
Student Union Theater

In conjunction with SUBOG and The Office of The President, Leadership Legacy Experience will be hosting a lecture by Anita Hill.

Over 20 years ago, the nation watched as Anita Hill testified to the Senate regarding the sexual harassment she endured while serving as a law clerk with Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas. Her testimony sparked nation-wide conversations regarding gender equity, sexual harassment, and race. Her courage inspired, and continues to inspire, others to stand up in the face of inequality and injustice.

Admission is free.

*This lecture is part of a series of Leadership Legacy Experience events. Prior to this, on Nov 11th, The Dodd Center will be screening the documentary, Anita: Speaking Truth to Power, at 6:30pm.
