TITLE: "Resilience and Aging: Lessons from U.S. Veterans"
Speaker: Paul Kirwin, M.D., Yale University School of Medicine
Target Audience: UConn Health faculty, residents, medical students, and other mental health professionals.
Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Identify several key social, psychological and biologic evidence based factors thought to contribute to resilience. 2. Analyze how our scientific understanding of resilience applies to an aging population. 3. Illustrate clinical and social strategies to enhance resilience.
Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
