The Office of the Vice President for Research, Technology Commercialization Services invites you to come learn about the Connecticut Bioscience Innovation Fund (CBIF). This $200 million, 10-year fund provides up to $500,000 to speed commercialization of bioscience breakthroughs. Funding options include grants, equity investments, and loans. Connecticut-based nonprofit corporations, accredited colleges and universities, and for-profit startup or early-stage businesses working in bioscience, biomedical engineering, health information management, medical care, medical devices, medical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, personalized medicine or other related disciplines can apply for funding.
