The deadline to submit paper and electronic full board IRB protocol submissions for the next IRB meeting is 4:30 PM. Only higher risk studies are reviewed by the Full IRB at a meeting. The deadlines only apply to those studies. Minimal risk studies can be submitted to the IRB office at any time. For questions regarding the risk-level of a study contact the IRB office.

Please note: If you are making an electronic submission, you must complete your department’s internal review process by the 4:30 PM deadlines.

Paper materials may be hand delivered to the Office of the Vice President for Research, Research Compliance Services in Whetten Graduate Center Room 214 or sent to UNIT 1246. Electronic submissions can be made via the Human Subjects Module within InfoEd at https://www.infoed.uconn.edu.
