The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is transitioning to using InfoEd as a complete online Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol application submission process. This includes implementation of new electronic IRB application forms and submission procedures. Researchers on the UConn-Storrs and regional campuses are invited to join the OVPR Research Compliance Services on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 10:00-11:30 AM in the Homer Babbidge Library Electronic Classroom 1 (EC-1) to learn about enhancements and changes to the way principal investigators are able to submit IRB applications. The hands-on, computer training session will provide an overview of the InfoEd New Portal and explore the Human Subjects Module including finding an existing IRB protocol within the InfoEd system and preparing and submitting an initial IRB application.
Space is limited to 20 participants. No training sessions will be held in July. Please register for the training session at https://web2.uconn.edu/hrtraining/training/index.php?course=302 (NetID login required). Additional sessions resume in August for the start of the fall semester.
