National Health Disparities Elimination Summit

The 2nd Annual National Health Disparities Elimination Summit "Living in America Today: Transforming Environments to Eliminate Health Disparities" will be taking place Saturday, October 29, from 8:30am-4:30pm in Keller Auditorium. The Summit will feature active discussions on relevant and critical issues currently facing the country and how different environments such as the physical environment (Flint water crisis), the healthcare environment (role of diversity in improving outcomes), and the social environment (societal structural issues such as gun violence) are creating or exacerbating health disparities. The Summit is pleased to welcome Mustafa Santiago Ali, Senior Advisor, US Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Justice and Community Revitalization Division, as its keynote speaker.
