"The Story of the Question: Developing Your Interests into Research Questions"

Dr. Caroline McGuire, Office of Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate research represents an opportunity for students to delve into topics of interest and create new knowledge. However, the process by which researchers develop their interests and pose researchable questions can seem mysterious, making it difficult to know how to get started. In this lecture, Caroline McGuire, Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research, will draw from her own research experiences and from the stories of undergraduate researchers at UConn to illustrate the process of question development and its role in learning through research (in college and beyond).

Attending this event counts toward Sophomore Honors.
