Designing, Implementing, and Assessing Mixed Methods Research: Issues and Strategies

A Workshop by Professor Lauren M. MacLean, Indiana University

September 30th 11:15am-2:30pm, Oak 438

Description: This workshop will provide an introduction to the key debates and issues surrounding mixed methods research. It will begin by considering whether everyone should use mixed methods and will then demonstrate how to use a data collection plan to design and assess research. Finally, the workshop will highlight how to prepare, organize, implement, and analyze mixed methods research.

This is designed to be valuable for researchers at any stage of their research process, whether or not they have decided to employ a mixed methods approach. While the workshop is designed primarily for graduate students, interested members of the faculty are also welcome to participate.

To participate please RSVP by September 23rd to Christine Lounsbury at christine.lounsbury@uconn.edu.
