"The importance of Culture and Autonomy in a global agile development environment"

Bernie Gracy ('85), Cimpress N.V.'s Sr. Vice President of Global Products and Merchant Services will present a "live time" case study of how a successful $2 billion e-commerce company is reinventing itself as a platform provider using microservices and the cloud. But underneath of the success to date is an operating model built upon a radical shift in how they organized and devolved control to a number of autonomous "tribes and squads" throughout the world. The session will provide an overview of the evolution of Cimpress NV and the conscious choices made to co-evolve its engineering culture.
