Urology Post Graduate Education Program “Falling Through the Cracks: Delayed or Missed Diagnoses Following Diagnostic and Treatment Algorithms”

Speaker: Dr. Jerry Blaivas Date: April 5, 2018 Time: 7:30am to 8:30am Location: UCHC 7th floor Outpatient Pavilion East Conference Room Target Audience: Faculty, Residents, and Staff: Departments of Surgery.

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Discuss the pitfalls of diagnostic and treatment algorithms in men and women with lower urinary tract symptoms. 2. Distinguish when to depart from diagnostic and treatment algorithms in men and women with lower urinary tract symptoms. 3. Diagnose and treat urethral obstruction in men and women. Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
