Storm water runoff or non-point source pollution is our leading cause of water quality problems according to the EPA. We will discuss watersheds and wetlands, their ecosystem services, and how storm water runoff affects them. We will also discuss various options for homeowners (rain gardens, rain barrels, green roofs and more) to help maintain and improve water quality and some thoughts on how you can get involved in your own town.
