Monday, February 18, 2019
7:00pm – 9:00pm

Hartford County Extension Center, Exchange Building, Suite 262, 270 Farmington Ave. Farmington, CT 06032

Hydrangeas, a favorite woody shrub in many Connecticut gardens, come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and habits. Depending on the species and cultivar, they can work in sun or shade, be a shrub, small tree or vine and bloom early or late in the season. They also can be a source of frustration to a gardener by not blooming reliably or by blooming in the “wrong” color. Join Chris Valley of Pride’s Corner Farms in a discussion of this varied genus, including some of the new introductions and learn which ones will work best for your garden.
