Breast Reconstruction: Novel Techniques and Challenges Provided by University of Connecticut School of Medicine Office of Community and Continuing Medical Education and The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center

Target Audience: Primary care physicians and APRN’s, medical oncologists, gynecologists, gynecological oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, oncology nurses, physician assistants, clinical trials staff, and any other clinicians involved in the management and treatment of patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Describe the variety of techniques available for breast reconstruction 2. Identify ideal breast reconstruction candidates 3. Understand the limitations and challenges of breast reconstruction

Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™.
