Werth Coffee Chat With Ben Curtis

On Monday, August 24th at 2pm EST, The Werth Institute's Coffee Chats will be hosting UConn alum Ben Curtis '06, Talent Manager/entrepreneur and President of Daylight Media. Ben will discuss his career journey and lessons students can deploy in their own journey. Werth Coffee Chats are intimate discussions with authors, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs about issues of relevance to students. Leveraging our alumni network, we offer these intimate chats to provide topical thought leadership access to the curated student groups. Attendance is capped at 12 UConn students to keep the ability to ask questions and engage with the guest speaker. More about Ben... Ben Curtis is a Talent Manager / entrepreneur, and is the President of Daylight Media, where he manages talent ranging from Oscar winning actor, Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), to some of the world’s largest social media influencers. After working a season for the New York Yankees, Ben climbed the ranks at William Morris Endeavor (talent agency) in Los Angeles to became a manager. He created his own firm, Daylight, in the spring of 2018, which focuses on talent management, and building businesses around talent. At Daylight, Ben has co-founded and launched, three start ups. Cloak, an apparel brand for the gaming demographic / QCode, a scripted Podcast Company / and the recently announced, Players NTWRK. Ben is also a general partner with Tasseo Consumer Ecosystem, a Private Equity firm that uses proprietary data to make investments in early stage consumer brands in the health and wellness spaces. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Ben attended The University of Connecticut. He is thirty seven years old, and lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Shelby, their three year old boy, Reggie, and their eight month old daughter, Vista.
