The goal of this community conversation is to recognize and commit to thwarting the anti-black sentiment that pervades within the Hispanic community by sharing experiences and anti-racist strategies that can be used to eliminate anti-blackness in personal interactions and social work practice. We are inviting folks to share their experiences and perspectives related to the theme of anti-blackness and the forms of resistance they implement to reduce its destructive effects especially in Hispanic communities. During this event our distinguished facilitators will guide the conversation ensuring that perspectives are historically and culturally grounded.
