Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to):
1. Discuss the epidemiology of hypophosphatemia bone disease.. 2. Identify an approach to evaluation of the patient with hypophosphatermia. 3. Review management of the patient with tumor induced osteomalacia.
Target Audience: The Department of Medicine faculty, housestaff and students, though many topics will be of interest to housestaff, students and other faculty members within the University of CT School of Medicine and Dental Medicine.
Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
