Interested in learning about entrepreneurship? The Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is offering a 3-credit course this Spring for you to develop your skills and knowledge in an industry-specific entrepreneurship field. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, you can begin to grow your entrepreneurial mindset this Spring with Biomedical Entrepreneurship. Biomedical Entrepreneurship - Students will gain experience that will help them be innovative thinkers as they are working towards their future career goals. Students will work in teams to try to solve a problem using new innovation in medical technologies and be coached by industry experts who address fundamental issues. Projects will be presented to external experts and teams will be supported in next step venture development, should they decide to move their ideas forward. Taught by industry experts, students will learn the fundamentals around creating a new business or venture within the realms of life sciences. Biomedical Entrepreneurship is held every Tuesday, 6:00-9:00 p.m. It is cross-listed and can be registered under BME 6086-020, BADM 5894-011 or MGMT 5895-012.
